Weekend Wrap Up
Happy Monday friends! Now that my website is done I feel like I can finally focus on blogging again. This weekend I decided to go to Charlotte. One of my little cousins was having a birthday party and my older cousin asked if I could take a few family photos for them. I also was able to spend some time with a few of my old co-workers which was so much fun! Being back definitely makes me miss Charlotte but think I'm still going to give Raleigh a chance for a while.
Since my cousin needed a few family photos, I decided I needed to make the most of the situation and photograph she and her husband alone too - like the engagement session they never had! I've been learning so much over the last few months so I was finally able to use some actual subjects to practice on. I'm not going to lie, I'm so proud of these images! We decided to do them on Saturday while the kids were playing inside for the birthday party so I had very limited portrait locations. These photos ended up being taken on a patch of grass in the parking lot of a sports complex and across the street from a waffle house!
That's one of my favorite images! These new techniques and what I've invested in for education is absolutely paying off. Not only did my cousins get great photos but we also had a lot of fun! I think I'll be traveling back to Charlotte soon to capture more beautiful images of more beautiful people and I can't wait! In the mean time, enjoy a few of my favorites and if you had a good weekend too let me know how it went! :)
