Wedding Wednesday | Nautical Wedding Inspiration
For some reason, the colors navy and white just work together really well don't you think? It's a color combination that everyone loves and is not only feminine but masculine too. This makes it perfect for a wedding! It's officially spring and nautical weddings are always a big hit between now and summer. So I thought I'd give you all some inspiration if you're thinking of having your own nautical wedding!
Navy and white stripes are a given. But sometimes having such a bold pattern is overwhelming. Instead, use those stripes as accents to your details! A few images from my Pinterest board above show how brides have used that exact combination. I personally love the groomsman anchor socks and the anchor cookies as favors for the guests. Everything still has a nautical touch with anchors or sailboats but it's not overwhelming yet not too simple! Remember, not all nautical weddings are as simple and white and blue. Adding a pop of peach or pink is a fun way to add more color to the day. I love large bouquets and a large white bouquet with lots of greens and some accent colored flowers always looks great against a wedding dress! Plus, just think about how amazing your album would look!! :).. For more nautical inspiration check out wedding blogs like Bayside Bride or Coastal Bride. Both blogs are great for any bride looking for inspiration for a coastal type wedding. For more wedding inspiration from me, follow me on Pinterest here! Happy Wedding Wednesday! :)
