My Photography Bucket List

I've never been out of the country. If I'm being totally honest, I don't even have my passport yet. I don't really know what I'm waiting for either. I mean, I know I want to travel and take photographs around the world. Not just for weddings but for pure joy! I love all different types of photography because it's capturing all of what this world has to offer. I want to feel pink sand in between my toes, marvel at Italian and Parisian art, taste foreign cuisines, swim in the clearest blue waters, and wake up to the most incredible views on God's beautiful earth. This bucket list doesn't just include international travel, there's plenty of cities right here in the US... heck, right here in North Carolina, that I want to visit too. Closer cities like Charleston and are an easy weekend getaway but when it comes to places like San Francisco, well, that requires a little bit more planning. As a matter of fact, I'm heading out to Cali this Fall so maybe I'll try and plan a little side trip to the Bay area!

It would be amazing if I could photograph a wedding at any of these locations. Will it happen? Who knows! But I'm being optimistic and putting this out for the world to see. You know, just in case there are any brides out there who LOVE my work and happen to be getting married in any of these places. Not to mention adding a little incentive to The Wedding Experience :). I'm going to throw in the fact that I would also LOVE to photograph an engagement session that involves hot air balloons. On to the list!

The Photography Bucket List (in no particular order)

  • San Fransisco, CA
  • Charleston, SC
  • Washington, D.C. (I've been here twice and love it!)
  • Hawaii
  • The Bahamas
  • Venice, Italy
  • Jamaica
  • Santorini, Greece
  • Switzerland
  • Tahiti
  • Paris, France
  • Madrid and Barcelona, Spain
  • Tulum, Mexico
  • Rome
  • St. Lucia
  • Antigua
  • Bali, Indonesia
  • London
  • Yellowstone National Park
  • Positano, Italy
  • Aruba
  • Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
  • Taj Mahal

As you can see, my aspirations for international travel are quite high haha. It seems like I'll only get to most of these places in a dream. Just in case though, I guess I'd better get on that passport thing, huh? :) Comment below if you have a photography bucket list or dream travel destinations!
