John & Jessica
A Bell House Wedding | Luray, VA
When John and Jessica got engaged I was so excited for them. Jessica had been talking about how she thought John would propose on their trip to Alaska. No surprise there because he did! I wish I was there to shoot an engagement session (that would have been EPIC) but shooting it when they got back worked just as good! I am so excited to share their wedding with you all today! John is from Indiana and Jessica is from New Jersey but they decided to get married in Virginia. At first glance it seems odd but it's really an awesome story! John's great, great, great grandfather built the Bell House and got married in front of the fireplace there. The house will soon be part of the Luray Valley Museum but they wanted to have the wedding in front of it first. It's always so nice to see couple's use a special place for there wedding venue. The day started out raining but by time the ceremony started it was barely drizzling and then stopped for the rest of the day! Definitely a miracle and we got some beautiful portraits out of it! The reception was so much fun and so many people came from all over to celebrate with these two on their special day. So enjoy this Monday post, I have a full week of blogging to do! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Burgess, I hope Colorado was fun!!
