A Field Trip To The Beach
I had a REALLY good weekend. I usually don't look forward to Saturdays anymore because I have class for six hours but this week we actually went to the beach! Not a bad class after all huh?! We went to Sandy Hook for a landscape shoot and lucky for us it was PERFECT out. I haven't been to the beach all summer and I cant believe when I finally did go it was for a class field trip and it would actually be almost 80 degrees a week before October. Even though we were there for a landscape shoot, I of course got caught up in portraits with my photographer friend Paola. I figured it would be good for my independent study too. Shes awesome and she was in my class last semester for film 1 while I was in film 2. And guess what, she's ENGAGED! I loved her ring so much she let me take some shots of it which gave me great practice using a macro for the wedding. I had so much fun shooting her and lucky for me she loves to model! Unfortunately for her, her camera stopped working almost as soon as we got to the beach and no one was able to figure out what the problem was so I let her use my memory card in my camera :) Sharing is caring guys! Other than that we enjoyed ourselves. And shout out to my mom for driving me all the way to the beach at 9am because I had no ride! So enjoy the few scenic shots of the light house and the many portraits of Paola.
See what I meant by FEW .. Oh well, On to the portraits!
