Wedding Wednesday | Wedding Magazines

When I picked up my first wedding magazine, I'll be honest.. I didn't read a word. I think a lot of people do that and never realize how much information they are really missing out on! From real wedding inspiration and to saving money and where to budget the most for your wedding, to sourcing your details. My favorite type of magazine is the 'real weddings' issue. These are usually exclusive to certain times of the year but ones like the knot are published fairly frequently. Martha Stewart just released hers about a month ago and Southern Weddings released SWV7 last month too!

Southern Weddings is becoming my all time favorite magazine. Even though I haven't moved to North Carolina yet I send this magazine to my brides. Why? Because it's amazing! The book is so well put together and they love to share real stories that inspire not only brides but people who love home decor and all things southern. You know like lemonade and tea. Everyone in the south drinks that. Another reason I can't wait to move :) Just the other day I sent out a welcome package to a 2015 bride with SWV7 and The Knot - real weddings issue. All of these magazines have awesome resources for any bride. Whether it's the DIY bride or the classic-chic bride, wedding magazines are a really good way to not only get inspiration but also see the work in print. Wedding blogs are amazing but seeing a photographers work in print really brings the image to LIFE! Most magazines are less than $7 and can be found at stores like Walgreens, Barnes & Noble, and Target. So if you're a bride lacking a great source for inspiration and tips, wedding magazines are a great help! Hope this post was helpful - happy wedding wednesday folks!!
